Talha Cakir

I am an Economist at the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT).

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Purdue University in 2026.

My research lies at the intersection of monetary economics, macroeconomics, and financial economics, with a focus on digital currencies, payment systems, and the economic implications of artificial intelligence.
